Search and booking
Search details are used in your browser to prepare an outbound search. Bokinger does not keep a search database. Necessary details can be included in the partner URL when you continue. Booking, payment and customer accounts are handled by the external provider.
Hosting and language
The web host receives technical information, such as your IP address, browser and requested page, to deliver and protect the service. For language detection, the server looks up an approximate country from your IP address using a local DB-IP database. The lookup does not send the IP to DB-IP or create a separate location log. A language preference cookie lasts up to 180 days. Bokinger does not currently use visitor analytics or advertising pixels.
Email enquiries
If you email us, we process the sender address and message to respond to your enquiry. Please send only the information needed to answer your question.
External providers
Affiliate links may pass through Travelpayouts. Travel providers process information according to their own privacy notices when you visit their services.
Your rights
Depending on the processing, you may have rights to access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. Contact us by email to make a request. You can also complain to the relevant data protection authority, including Datatilsynet in Norway.
Purposes and legal basis
We rely on legitimate interests (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) to deliver and secure the website, select a useful language and answer enquiries. These interests are providing a working travel-planning service and responding to people who contact us. The country lookup is temporary and stays on our server. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests and request information about our balancing assessment at info@bokinger.com. We do not use automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
How long information is kept
The language cookie expires after up to 180 days unless refreshed by a language choice; you can delete it sooner. Search and calculator inputs are not saved by Bokinger. We retain enquiry correspondence while answering the request and resolving related follow-up, then delete it unless needed for a specific dispute or legal obligation. Hosting security logs and backups follow Hostinger’s service retention and rotation; Bokinger does not keep a separate visitor-log archive. Retention depends on incident investigation, recovery needs and applicable legal requirements. Contact us for details relevant to your request.
Service providers and international processing
Hostinger provides our website hosting and email. The website server is in the United Kingdom; service support and subprocessors may involve other countries. Hostinger’s data processing addendum describes its subprocessors and transfer safeguards, including standard contractual clauses where applicable. You can request information about the relevant safeguards from us. Following an affiliate link sends the selected search details and technical connection information to Travelpayouts and the travel provider under their own notices. We use Google Search Console reports about search visibility; no Google visitor-tracking script is installed on Bokinger.
